Membership


Who can join: The membership is open to career professionals interested in career resources. Although our meetings are held in the Boston area, members outside this region can benefit by receiving copies of the minutes and resource listings.

Why you should join:
CRMA can provide you with opportunities such as scholarships, membership lists, bibliographies and access to our list server.

Meetings: CRMA meets meets every other year in even numbered years to evaluate and discuss career resources, listen to speakers, plan future meetings, network, and conduct business. Members often bring references to share with the group. Meetings are held in the Boston, Massachusetts area.

Conference: The two-day conference, held every other year in odd numbered years, is attended by career professionals from across the United States. It gives participants the opportunity to network, share information, and attend presentations.

Scholarships: The CRMA Scholarship Committee is pleased to announce the availability of one scholarship to attend a career resource and information conference each year except for CRMA conferences. All CRMA members except the Scholarship Committee and the Steering Committee are eligible to make a written request for conference funding for an amount not to exceed $1500.

Completed applications should be emailed to the Committee at the address indicated on the scholarship form. The CRMA Scholarship Committee is responsible for selecting a recipient of the scholarship. Entries will not be returned. The funded recipient must submit a detailed report of each conference session attended which will be distributed to the membership by the end of the calendar year. The recipient may also report at a CRMA meeting.

Membership List: CRMA is an organization with over 150 members, all professionals active in the field of career resources in the academic world as well as the public and private sectors. CRMA members have access to the extensive membership list of the association. This invaluable networking tool lists names, job titles, institutional affiliation, and contact information.

Listserv: CRMA has an electronic mailing list (listserv) for its members which enables discussion of current issues and timely exchange of information among career resource professionals.

How to join:

If you would like to become a member, please complete one version of the membership form below and mail it to the Career Resource Managers Association at the address specified on the membership form.

To pay by check, mail a check with a completed membership form.
